Getting started
Create a free account and enter the valley (browser or PC download). You spawn in town with a short on-screen guide.
First goal: get a plot. At town hall or the realtor, pick a lot in the farm ring. Once bought, it's yours: soil, crops, and buildings.
The map is large (about 4×4 km). Walking takes a while; a pickup or tractor later will save a lot of time.
- Tips
- If you're lost, check the minimap or ask in town chat.
- Progress (gold, inventory, XP) is saved on the server.
Basic controls
Move with WASD (or arrows). The mouse looks / interacts depending on context.
E or the interact key: talk to NPCs, open shops, enter vehicles, harvest, etc.
TAB on your plot: build mode. Place soil, houses, pens, silos, and more.
Inventory and in-game menus: check lobby Options if a key doesn't respond.
Plot & crops
On your lot you place farmable soil and buy seeds in town. Each crop has a different grow time: cheap ones mature fast; expensive ones take longer but pay better per hour.
Plant, wait (or do other things while they grow), and harvest when ready. If you leave ripe crops too long, they can spoil — don't forget the plot for days.
Upgrade storage and silo when you run out of space. Later you can expand the plot by leveling up and paying for the expansion.
- Tips
- Start with fast crops to learn the pace; later mix in longer grows for more gold per hour.
- World events (rain, shortage, festival) can shift prices and pace.
Selling & earning gold
Goods sell in town: supermarket, grain elevator, and other spots depending on the item.
If you're hauling a lot, a vehicle with a bed or trailer beats walking every time.
Gold buys seeds, buildings, animals, fuel, expansions, and vehicles. You don't need to spend it all on day one — keep a cushion.
Animals
With a pen or barn you can raise animals. They give periodic products (eggs, milk, etc.) for the upkeep and upfront cost.
They're not the only path to gold: mix animals with crops and town sales to match your style.
Trees & wood
You can chop and process wood as side income. It's slower than a well-planned crop loop, but it's a nice change of pace and resource source.
If you manage several trees, think in batches: harvest when several are ready instead of one by one.
Vehicles & fuel
Pickup, tractor, harvester (and more) are bought at the dealership. They help you cross the valley and haul goods.
Vehicles burn fuel: fill up at the town gas station. No gas means you're walking.
Some vehicles can be upgraded; check the workshop or upgrade menu when unlocked.
Hunger & care
Your character can get hungry. Eat from inventory or buy food in town so you don't get slowed down.
If something won't interact, check if your hands are full, you're in a vehicle, or you're missing a required item.
Quests, chat & community
Daily quests give gold and XP — a solid boost when you start the day.
Chat and Discord are the best place for questions, trades, and event news. The valley plays better with people.
